Two EB Lanes of Bay Bridge Reopen Following Police Shooting

Two eastbound lanes of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge are being reopened Sunday following a police shooting that closed all eastbound lanes of traffic for several hours earlier in the morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP on Twitter announced around 8:45 a.m. that the two left lanes just east of the Yerba Buena Island tunnel were reopening. The three right lanes remain closed while authorities continue the investigation.

Further details were not immediately available.
